On September 14, 2021 an auto burglary was reported to the Kingsport Police Department. The incident took place at Quality Inn, located at 3004 Bays Meadow Place in Kingsport. Over $1,300 in assorted power and hand tools were stolen from a truck.

The female suspect who is believed to be responsible was captured on surveillance video. Photos taken from that footage have been included in this release.
