|On July 20, 2021 at approximately 2:20 PM Crash Reconstructionists with the Kingsport Police Department Traffic Unit responded to a serious motor vehicle collision in the 2900 block of North John B. Dennis Highway in Kingsport. Their subsequent investigation revealed the following:
A maroon 2001 Honda Accord 4-door sedan, driven and solely occupied by a 17 year old male juvenile (not identified due to his minor age), was northbound in the 2900 block of North John B. Dennis Highway in Kingsport. Meanwhile, a red 2018 Chevrolet Cruze 4-door sedan, driven and solely occupied by Shirley M. Kilgore, was southbound on the same section of roadway.
