SUBJECT: Kingsport Police Attempting to Identify Suspect in Stolen $10,000 U-Haul Trailer Investigation

GENERAL NARRATIVE
On October 18, 2020 at approximately 7:30 PM, an unknown suspect, driving a white extended-cab Ford pickup truck, stole a $10,000 tandem-axle U-Haul 6×12 foot utility trailer (silver with orange decals) from the parking lot of Cupboard Propane and Moving, located at 4002 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport. The incident was captured on surveillance video.

Photos taken from that footage of the suspect and his pickup have been include in this release. Anyone who recognizes this individual or his vehicle, or who may have any other information that may help solve this case, is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
