Update: Jason N. McMurray has been located safe and sound and is no longer considered a missing person.

As previously released:

On the evening of April 4, 2020, Jason N. McMurray was reported as a missing person to the Kingsport Police Department by a family member. He has reportedly not been seen or heard from since March 31, 2020 which is apparently out of character for him.

Mr. McMurray is a 48 year old white male adult. He is 5 feet 8 inches in height, weighs 200 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes. He lives in Kingsport but allegedly frequents North Carolina.

A photograph of Mr. McMurray is included in this release. Anyone who sees him or knows his current whereabouts is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
