| SUBJECT: | K.P.D. Issues Traffic Advisory Due to Serious Crash | ||

| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On March 27, 2020 at approximately 9:10 PM, Kingsport Police Patrol Officers responded to a motor vehicle collision on West Stone Drive near Netherland Inn Road in Kingsport. Due to the serious nature of the crash, the K.P.D. Traffic Unit has been called to the scene. Their investigation into the crash is just now beginning.
As of the time of issuance of this news release, all eastbound lanes of Stone Drive are blocked at the location of the crash. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, seek an alternate route, and avoid the area if at all possible. Anyone already in the immediate area is asked to exercise caution and patience, and obey all traffic instructions. No further information regarding the crash is available at this time. Due to the late hour, it is unlikely that any further details will be released until the following day at the earliest. |
