|SUBJECT:||Man Wanted for Attempted Second Degree Murder Following Stabbing Incident|

|On October 15, 2018 at approximately 1:30 AM Kingsport Police Patrol Officers and Detectives were dispatched to a stabbing incident at Dogwood Terrace Apartments, located at 1921 Bowater Drive in Kingsport. Responding Officers located a 19 year old black male victim with a life-threatening stab wound. He was transported to an area medical facility for emergency treatment and remains hospitalized in stable condition.
The resultant investigation revealed that the victim was stabbed during a physical altercation by Darius D. Woodbury, who then fled the scene prior to police arrival. Detectives obtained a warrant charging Mr. Woodbury with Attempted Second Degree Murder. As a result of his involvement in this incident, he is also wanted on a separate warrant for Violation of Probation.
As of the time of this release, Mr. Woodbury remains at large. He is a 24 year old black male adult, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Based on this current incident as well as past violent behavior, he should be considered armed and dangerous. A photograph of Mr. Woodbury is attached.
