SUBJECT: Kingsport Police Attempting to Locate Missing Man

On August 29, 2018 at approximately 3:00 PM, Hunter D. Engle was reported as a missing person to the Kingsport Police Department by his grandmother. She stated that she had not seen or heard from him for several months.

While there is currently no specific reason to believe he is in imminent danger, his grandmother did share some factors from his personal history that lead her to be concerned for his overall welfare. As such, he has been entered into the NCIC database as a missing person.

He is a 24 year old white male adult, with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 10 inches in height and weighing 155 pounds. A photograph of Mr. Engle is included in this release.

Anyone who knows his current whereabouts, or who may be able to provide any information to help locate him, is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
