SUBJECT: Detectives Hoping Citizens Can Help Identify Debit Card Fraud Suspect

GENERAL NARRATIVE
On March 19, 2018, a woman lost her wallet while visiting a coffee shop in Downtown Kingsport. Shortly thereafter, her bank contacted her to tell her that her debit card that had been in the wallet had just been used to make multiple fraudulent purchases at nearby Food City Gas ‘N Go and Burger King locations. Both of these businesses are within easy walking distance of the coffee shop.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect who was fraudulently using the stolen debit card. Those images have been included in this release. Anyone who can assist Detectives in identifying this individual is asked to contact the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
