|On January 27, 2018 at approximately 5:00 PM, Kingsport Police Patrol Officers responded to the 800 block of Granby Road in Kingsport to investigate a report of a suspicious suspect allegedly peering into parked vehicles and soliciting money from citizens.
Upon arrival, Officers located the described individual and positively identified him as Coty A. Savage. A resultant warrant check confirmed that Mr. Savage was wanted on an active outstanding arrest warrant out of Marshall County, Kentucky for the Attempted Murder of a Law Enforcement Officer.
Mr. Savage was consequently arrested without incident, charged as a Fugitive from Justice, and transported to the Kingsport City Jail. He is currently being held without bond, awaiting arraignment, and pending arrangements for extradition back to Kentucky.
