| SUBJECT: | Possible I-81 Traffic Congestion Due to Tractor-Trailer Fire | ||

| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On November 10, 2017 as of approximately 5:15 PM, Kingsport area first responders are on the scene of a tractor-trailer fire on the southbound side of Interstate 81 at roughly the 66 mile-marker. Traffic is down to one-lane and will continue to be so for at least a couple of hours. This could obviously potentially result in traffic congestion and delays.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and plan an alternate route if at all possible. Motorists already in the immediate area are encourage to slow down, exercise caution and patience, obey all traffic instructions, and drive with a heightened sense of situational awareness. |
