SUBJECT: Suspects Sought in Theft of Wallet and Fraudulent Use of Debit Card Contained Within

GENERAL NARRATIVE
On October 8, 2017 at approximately 6:00 PM, a teenage girl’s wallet was stolen from her purse while she was working at a store in the Fort Henry Mall, located at 2101 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport. Shortly thereafter, the victim’s debit card contained within her wallet was used to make two fraudulent purchases at Walmart, located at 2500 West Stone Drive.

The two suspects were captured by Walmart surveillance cameras leaving the store afterward. A photograph taken from that footage has been included in this release. Anyone who recognizes either of them is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
