SUBJECT: K.P.D. Attempting to Identify Suspect in Theft of iPhone at Local Fast Food Restaurant

GENERAL NARRATIVE
On July 4, 2017 at approximately 12:00 Noon, a white male suspect stole a cell phone that had been temporarily placed on the counter while the owner filled her beverage at Taco Bell, located at 1221 North Eastman Road in Kingsport. Kingsport Police Detectives have been able to obtain surveillance video that captured the incident.

Forward-facing and side-profile photographs of the suspect taken from that footage have been included in this release. A short clip of the actual footage has also been made available for viewing on the K.P.D. YouTube channel via the link below:
