| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On August 24, 2017 at approximately 10:00 PM, Officers from the Kingsport Police Department Patrol Division and Traffic Unit responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 900 block of Fairview Avenue in Kingsport. One motorist has died as a result of the crash. K.P.D. Crash Reconstructionists are still in the preliminary stages of their investigation. Additional details will be released at an appropriate point as more facts become available and pending notification of the decedent’s next of kin. | |||
