| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On May 9, 2017 at approximately 11:00 PM, Kingsport Central Dispatch was notified of a motorcycle crash along southbound Interstate 81 at the 60.6 mile marker. Kingsport Police Patrol Officers and Crash Reconstructionists have responded to the scene to investigate.
The motorcycle operator was killed in the crash. The crash itself remains under investigation by the K.P.D. Traffic Unit. Additional details will be released at the appropriate point in the investigation and pending notification of next of kin. |
