| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On Monday, February 20, 2017 at approximately 9:30 PM, Kingsport Central Dispatch was notified of a possible shooting incident in the 300 block of Lynn Avenue in the Lynn Garden Community of Kingsport. Officers from the Kingsport Police Patrol and Criminal Investigations Division are currently on scene.
As the investigation is still in its infancy, it would be both premature and irresponsible to publicly discuss any specifics at this time. Additional details will be released as the investigation evolves, but it would be extremely unlikely for that to occur before sometime tomorrow at the earliest. |
