On August 4, 2016, two individuals used another person’s debit card account information to make a purchase of $206.94 at T.J. Maxx, located at 2003 North Eastman Road in Kingsport. The suspects were apparently somehow able to clone the card, because the original card was still in the victim’s possession.

The two individuals, one male, the other female, were captured on surveillance video during the transaction, and a photo taken from that footage has been included in this release. Anyone who recognizes either of them is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
