|On August 22, 2016 at 11:00 PM, Sarah R. Allen was reported as a missing person to the Kingsport Police Department. She is a 37 year old white female adult with brown hair and hazel eyes. She stands 5 feet tall and weighs 155 pounds and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue shorts.
Ms. Allen resides in a supervised adult group home in the 2300 block of East Center Street in Kingsport. On August 22, 2016 at approximately 5:30 PM, she left with permission on foot to walk to the nearby M&M/USA Market, located on the corner of East Center Street and North Eastman Road.
Ms. Allen subsequently missed her scheduled medication administration at 8:00 PM as well as her 10:00 PM curfew, and she has not been seen or heard from since. She is reportedly very punctual and always notifies the group home staff of her whereabouts, so this is very out of character for her.
Due to her mysterious disappearance, her pre-existing medical issues, and resulting prescribed medication essential for her well-being, she is being considered not just missing, but also endangered, and has been entered into the N.C.I.C. law enforcement database accordingly.
A photograph of Ms. Allen has been included in this release. Anyone who sees her or who may know her current whereabouts is asked to contact Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111. The Kingsport Police Department requests for anyone who sees her to please attempt to keep her in sight until officers arrive on scene and make contact.
