| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On August 20, 2016 at approximately 8:25 PM, the Kingsport Police Department was notified of a shooting in the vicinity of Regions Bank and Buffalo Wild Wings, located at 1717 and 1721 East Stone Drive respectively, in Kingsport. One adult male victim has been transported to an area medical facility for treatment.
The K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division is in the preliminary stages of what will be a lengthy investigation; therefore, no additional information will be released at this time. A follow-up news release with additional details will be issued at an appropriate point in the investigation. |
