SUBJECT: Detectives Request Help in Identifying Credit Card Fraud Suspect
DATE: June 20, 2016
CASE #: 16-006482
On March 28, 2016 at approximately 7:15 AM, an unknown white male suspect used a stolen credit card to make two fraudulent purchases at Lowes, located at 2324 West Stone Drive in Kingsport. The amounts of the two transactions were $196.00 and $217.00.

The credit card was originally stolen from the victim in a convenience store in Pound, Virginia, with the Wise County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office running a parallel investigation into that theft.

The suspect was captured on Lowe’s surveillance video, and photos taken from that footage have been included in this release. At one point, the suspect is believed to have been traveling in a Ford Mustang or similarly styled sports car. The vehicle, also pictured in this release, appears to be blue in color with a white racing stripe on the hood and trunk lid.

Anyone who recognizes him or the vehicle or who may have any additional information which may help solve this case is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.

Alternatively, if an individual who is able to supply information related to this or any other case wishes not to be identified, tips can be submitted anonymously via online “Citizen Feedback” forms available at the following link:
