On or about February 1, 2016, a woman’s debit card was stolen without her immediate knowledge from her residence, located on Lynnbrook Lane in Kingsport. In the days that followed, the stolen card was fraudulently used for nine separate transactions including the following:
1) February 1, 2016 – B&B Package Store – Purchase of $42.69
2) February 2, 2016 – Eastman Credit Union ATM – 3 withdrawals totaling $180.00
3) February 3, 2016 – Eastman Credit Union ATM – 3 withdrawals totaling $360.00
4) February 3, 2016 – Minute Market – Purchase of $8.73
5) February 4, 2016 – Eastman Credit Union ATM – Transfer of $38.41
The victim learned later that month that her card had been stolen after discovered the fraudulent transactions while reviewing her bank statement.
A review of Eastman Credit Union ATM surveillance video revealed footage of three different individuals using the victim’s card. Two of the suspects are white females, while the third appears to be a white male. Photos of these individuals have been included in this release.
