SUBJECT: Kingsport Police Searching for Suspect in Theft of Mail Order Diabetic Supplies
DATE: March 14, 2016
CASE #: 16-004463
On March 3, 2016, shortly before 3:00 PM, a white male suspect stole a package from the front porch of a residence in the 700 block of Ross Street in Kingsport. The package had just been delivered by a United States Postal Service Mail Carrier and was believed to have contained diabetic medical supplies intended for the resident.

A review of video footage from the homeowner’s surveillance camera system revealed that the thief had been recorded in the act. He could be seen walking up the driveway toward the house and leaving a couple of minutes later carrying the package in question.

Photos of the suspect taken from that footage have been included in this release, while a clip of the actual video has been made available for viewing on the K.P.D. YouTube channel via the link below:

Anyone who recognizes him is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.

Alternatively, if an individual who is able to supply information related to this or any other case wishes not to be identified, tips can be submitted anonymously via online “Citizen Feedback” forms available at the following link:
