|On December 7, 2015 at approximately 10:00 PM, Kingsport Police Patrol Officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of White Street in the Tellico Hills neighborhood of Kingsport in reference to a runaway juvenile. Officers spoke with the residents who reported that their 12 year old daughter, Renee Robinson, had run away from home approximately one hour earlier after becoming upset over a disciplinary matter.
The K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division was called to the scene to assist in the investigation. An extensive search, including the use of a Bloodhound, was conducted throughout the surrounding neighborhood to no avail. Due to her minor age and the expected overnight near freezing temperatures in the forecast, she is to be considered missing and endangered.
Renee left the home on foot at approximately 9:00 PM. She is a 12 year old white female, 5 feet 3 inches in height, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. When she left, she was wearing a navy blue sweatshirt, blue jeans, and yellow shoes. She was last seen carrying a small backpack.
Anyone who may have any information regarding her location is asked to contact the Kingsport Police Department immediately by calling Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111. Anyone who sees her is asked to make every effort to keep her in sight until police arrival.
