SUBJECT: Kingsport Police Release Surveillance Video of Recent Convenience Store Burglary
DATE: December 3, 2015
CASE #: 15-025836
On November 28, 2015 at approximately 3:20 AM, an unknown suspect burglarized the Sunoco Convenience Store, located at 828 West Center Street in Kingsport. It appears that the suspect gained entry by using a window punch tool to shatter the front door glass.

Once inside, the suspect hurdled the counter and loaded several packs of tobacco cigarettes and e-cigarette items into a duffle bag and quickly exited the store. The value of the stolen property was approximately $500.

A review of surveillance video determined that the suspect was most likely a white male. He can be seen on the video wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeved burgundy shirt, athletic shoes, gloves, a black knit cap, and sunglasses.

Photos of the suspect taken from that footage are included in this release. Several clips from the video have been made available for viewing on the K.P.D. YouTube channel via the following links:

Anyone who can assist Detectives in identifying this suspect is asked to call the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.

Alternatively, if an individual who is able to supply information related to this or any other case wishes not to be identified, tips can be submitted anonymously via online “Citizen Feedback” forms available at the following link:
