On July 31, 2015 an unknown individual used a stolen debit card to conduct a series of fraudulent purchases throughout the City Kingsport. The card was initially stolen out of the victim’s purse the previous day without her immediate knowledge.

Purchases were made at the Minute Market (1108 East Center Street), Wal-Mart (3200 Fort Henry Drive), Kroger (1664 East Stone Drive), Green Acres Package Store (1229 North Eastman Road), and Family Dollar (2837 North Eastman Road). The total amount of fraudulent purchases exceeds $700.00.

A black male suspect was captured on surveillance video during the Wal-Mart transaction, with a photo of that individual included in this release. Anyone who recognizes him is asked to contact K.P.D. Detectives in the Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
