SUBJECT: K.P.D. Attempting to Identify Suspect in Fraudulent Use of Stolen Debit Card

GENERAL NARRATIVE
On August 31, 2015 at approximately 3:30 PM, a white male suspect attempted to use a stolen debit card to make a purchase at the Roadrunner Market, located at 1600 West Stone Drive in Kingsport. The transaction was declined due to the card having been reported stolen. The card was stolen in Weber City, VA three days earlier, with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office investigating that incident.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video during the incident in Kingsport. Photos taken from that footage have been included in this release. Two clips from that footage have been made available for viewing on the K.P.D. YouTube channel via the links below:
