On August 4, 2015 at approximately 2:00 PM, Officers of the Kingsport Police Department’s Directed Patrol and Vice Units responded to Cloud Apartments #18, located at 1111 Robertson Street in Kingsport, in reference to a complaint of ongoing drug activity. Upon arrival the officers made contact with the resident, Jason J. Johnson, who consented to a search of his apartment.
During the subsequent search, officers located a quantity of yellow pills believed to be Hydrocodone and an assortment of legend drugs. A supply of empty Suboxone packaging was also located in the apartment. Mr. Johnson acknowledged unlawfully consuming the Suboxone intravenously. Also seized during the search was approximately $600 in cash which was believed to be proceeds from past drug transactions.
Mr. Johnson was arrested and transported to the Kingsport City Jail. He is charged with:
1) Possession of a Schedule II Drug (Hydrocodone) for Resale
2) Possession of a Legend Drug (3 counts)
3) Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
4) Maintaining a Dwelling where Drugs are Used, Stored, Distributed, or Manufactured |
