|A suspect has been identified and charged in two separate shoplifting incidents at Lowe’s Home Improvement, located at 2324 West Stone Drive in Kingsport. On April 22, 2015 at approximately 8:30 PM, Michael Cody Poole stole two DeWalt power tool kits from the West Stone Drive Lowe’s store. On June 9, 2015 at approximately 11:15 AM, Mr. Poole returned and stole two additional DeWalt power tool kits.
The kits he selected in the first incident had a total value of $427, with the kits he selected in the later incident having a total value of $550. Warrants have been obtained charging Mr. Poole with both Theft over $500 and Theft under $500 in the Kingsport incidents. Mr. Poole is also a suspect in the theft of over $5,000 in tools from other Lowe’s stores throughout the Tri-Cities area.
Two photos of Mr. Poole have been included in this release. One of these photos shows Mr. Poole pushing a shopping cart containing the tool kits out the door of Lowe’s. Mr. Poole is a 24 year old white male, with brown hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds.
