NEWS RELEASE
SUBJECT: Two Suspects Sought in Theft of Wallet from Local McDonald’s
DATE: April 15, 2015
CASE #: 15-006359
GENERAL NARRATIVE
On March 20, 2015 at approximately 2:30 PM a woman accidentally left her wallet on the counter after paying for her meal at McDonald’s, located at 1620 East Stone Drive in Kingsport. Approximately 20 minutes later, a couple consisting of a white male and a white female entered the restaurant and noticed the wallet on the counter, but they initially just purchased food and left.

Moments later, the white male re-entered the restaurant to purchase a drink and stole the wallet from the counter. The suspect couple promptly left the scene in what appears to be a gold 4-door sedan with a spoiler on the trunk lid. The wallet contained, among other things, a significant amount of cash.

Photos of the suspects and their vehicle, taken from video surveillance footage, are included in this release. Anyone who recognizes them or who may have any information that may help detectives solve this case is asked to contact the K.P.D.
