SUBJECT: K.P.D. Detectives Searching for Couple Suspected of Fraudulent Use of Stolen Debit Card

GENERAL NARRATIVE
On December 14, 2014 at approximately 3:30 PM a woman reported her debit card stolen to the Kingsport Police Department. She was not certain at what point the card left her possession; however, she last used the card the previous evening at Wal-Mart on West Stone Drive. A check of the account history showed that multiple fraudulent purchases were made throughout the day of December 14, 2014 and include the following:

1) 12/14/2014 at 2:33 AM at Roadrunner Market at 120 West Stone Drive for $64.00

2) 12/14/2014 at 4:11 AM at Suds and Bubbles at 1356 East Stone Drive for $9.00

3) 12/14/2014 at 4:42 AM at McDonald’s at 1620 East Stone Drive for $11.91

4) 12/14/2014 at 2:29 PM at Lowe’s at 2526 East Stone Drive for $337.04

5) 12/14/2014 at 3:02 PM at Kohl’s at 2626 East Stone Drive for $75.48

Surveillance cameras captured the final transaction at Kohl’s on video. The suspects are a white male and white female couple. Photos taken from this video footage are included in this release.
