SUBJECT: Kingsport Detectives Searching for Suspect in Felony Shoplifting Incident

On March 9, 2015 at approximately 11:00 PM a black male suspect shoplifted over $1,500 in merchandise from Wal-Mart, located at 2500 West Stone Drive in Kingsport. The suspect loaded miscellaneous merchandise into a shopping cart and exited through an emergency fire exit where he had a silver or gray van waiting. He loaded the merchandise into the van and fled the area.

The stolen merchandise included miscellaneous camera equipment, a case of motor oil, miscellaneous stereo equipment, several pairs of binoculars, several rifle scopes, an 8,000 BTU air conditioner, miscellaneous clothing items, and assorted bottles of cologne.
