SUBJECT: Kingsport Police Searching for Vehicle in Connection with Alleged Kidnapping
DATE: November 4, 2014
Update: This incident occurred this morning, November 4, 2014, at approximately 7:00 AM, in the parking lot of a local fast food restaurant. It began as a domestic dispute between a male and female. Detectives are presently following several leads in an attempt to locate the suspect and victim.

As previously released:

The Kingsport Police Department is currently investigating an alleged kidnapping incident. Detectives are in the preliminary stages of the investigation and many details have yet to be confirmed.

Detectives are requesting that area motorists assist them in locating a silver Mitsubishi Eclipse that is possibly connected to this incident. The vehicle is reported to have a Monster Energy Drink sticker on the gas cap access door.

This vehicle may be occupied by the kidnapper and the victim. If this vehicle is spotted, citizens are advised to not approach the vehicle, and call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111 immediately.

Additional information will be released at the appropriate time in the investigation.
