DATE: May 29, 2014
GENERAL NARRATIVE
On May 26, 2014 at 3:00 PM, George Washington Elementary School, located at 1100 Bellingham Drive in Kingsport, was burglarized. While the suspects were inside the school, they stole and ate popsicles, and removed a hamster from its cage. The following day, on May 27, 2014 at 6:00 PM, George Washington Elementary School was again burglarized. This time, the suspects stole candy.

The subsequent investigation, which included a review of school surveillance video footage, led detectives to the same group of suspects in both crimes.

The investigation into these crimes is still open and active; therefore, no further details will be released at this time.
