The Kingsport Police Department is seeking help from the public in learning the identity of a suspect in a recent burglary to a downtown business.

On October 12, 2013 at approximately 3:45 AM, a white male suspect used a brick to smash a hole in the glass door of the Family Dollar located at 405 West Sullivan Street in Kingsport. He then reached in, unlocked the door, and went inside.

While inside, the suspect appears to have only stolen a few inexpensive shaving related items. He fled the scene moments later.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red athletic shorts, and black high top sneakers.

A photo taken from video surveillance footage is included in this release. The actual video is available for viewing by the media.
